Before the Fall: Unmasking Satan’s Ancient Agenda

Examining contemporary developments through the lens of Scripture brings clarity and reveals the deeper purpose behind many modern innovations. Without anchoring today’s events in biblical context, much of what unfolds may seem disjointed or without meaning. Yet, when viewed through this spiritual framework, we begin to recognize a striking pattern—what we see today is not entirely new, but a recurrence of themes long documented in sacred history. The emergence of Artificial Intelligence, in particular, appears to be a continuation of ancient ambitions, now reimagined with modern tools, technologies, and actors. To fully grasp this parallel, it is essential to first understand the Bible’s perspective on the foundational themes that underpin this unfolding narrative

Genesis 3:1-7 The serpent was the shrewdest of all the wild animals the Lord God had made. One day he asked the woman, “Did God really say you must not eat the fruit from any of the trees in the garden? “Of course we may eat fruit from the trees in the garden,” the woman replied.  “It’s only the fruit from the tree in the middle of the garden that we are not allowed to eat. God said, ‘You must not eat it or even touch it; if you do, you will die. “You won’t die!” the serpent replied to the woman. “God knows that your eyes will be opened as soon as you eat it, and you will be like God, knowing both good and evil.” The woman was convinced. She saw that the tree was beautiful and its fruit looked delicious, and she wanted the wisdom it would give her. So she took some of the fruit and ate it. Then she gave some to her husband, who was with her, and he ate it, too. At that moment their eyes were opened, and they suddenly felt shame at their nakedness. So they sewed fig leaves together to cover themselves.

Let us pay close attention to the highlighted text. When the serpent offered Eve a new form of knowledge—one that ultimately led to rebellion—it possessed the power to distort her perception of reality, making the false appear true and the unreal seem tangible. The phrase “and she wanted the wisdom it would give her” signifies that her desire went beyond the fruit itself; the fruit merely served as a vessel for the forbidden insight that initiated humanity’s fall. The enemy’s objective was clear: to lure mankind away from God and ensnare them in ongoing rebellion. Having succeeded once, this strategy has been replicated throughout history. Lust-fueled temptation followed by defiance remains the enemy’s consistent endgame. Scripture is replete with examples of this pattern—his relentless opposition to God and mankind. Today, he has simply updated the props, but the plot remains unchanged. It is the same ancient narrative, now staged with modern instruments in the theater of our time.

As we examine the evolving capabilities of Artificial Intelligence, particularly its power to reshape perception and induce altered states of consciousness, a familiar pattern emerges. AI now possesses the ability to render the unrealistic convincingly real, and to present falsehoods as truth — a digital echo of ancient deception. This mirrors the age-old narrative: the serpent’s offer of forbidden knowledge that distorts reality and leads to rebellion. In our time, the enemy has found new instruments — technological advancements that enable the spread of false teachings, synthetic sermons, and spiritual counterfeits. Though the tools have changed, the strategy remains the same. And as this deception deepens, it sets the stage for a great falling away, just as Scripture warns.
